This particular aircraft was purchased by the employees of Delta and would remain the flagship of the fleet until it was retired in 2006. The "Spirit of Delta" now resides in the Delta Flight Museum located outside Delta's corporate headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

This aircraft is a JetBlue Airbus A320. The A320 was introduced by Airbus in 1987. It was the first airliner to be designed with a computerized fly-by-wire control system. The aircraft is controlled by a joystick type apparatus that sits on either side of the cockpit.

Answer: Concorde

The Aerospatiale/BAe Concorde was the only supersonic passenger aircraft to operate in the twentieth century. It was first flown in 1969 and was operated by British Airways and Air France. The Concorde could reach speeds over Mach 2.0, which allowed it to fly from Europe to New York in half the time it would have taken on a standard passenger jet.

However, it had poor fuel efficiency and could only accommodate approximately one hundred passengers. The last Concorde was retired in 2003.
