answer Approaching number 14, very slowly. I stuck on 32 then 35 then 37, each for several days; today it's 39. I am no longer checking every day, it's too depressing to see absolutely no change for multiple days. The last few rounds took about five weeks, which is faster than a spot a day on average.

answer I might be able to play through my set this weekend. I've put it off for a few weeks; just been busy.

answer OK, thanks agony for the advice, and thanks, kyle, I'll read that EDQ.

answer While the information should be about the answers, that does not necessarily mean you need to explain the meaning of each of the words you removed/replaced. Your information needs to leave players better-informed than they previously were about the subject matter. This could mean expanding on the concepts introduced, or discussing the significance of some points, or (if you started with some well-known bit of writing) more about the source itself. Your choice of words to remove should be made so that restoring them makes some kind of point on which you can expand in your information.

answer One format that I have found works well for this type of quiz in Geography where I edit - and which would probably work in some other categories as well - is to use the narrative to describe something. "Freedonia is a country that lies to the [west] of Hungary, with [Austria] to the north. The [Big River] traverses the country from east to west" And so on.

answer Well, someone beat me to Classical, so I'll take Jazz, if I may. :-)

answer If it helps there's already an EDQ available for this format specifically.

answer It's always good to have a reminder, agony. I have a couple of ideas for mine, but am waiting for June to arrive just in case either of them fits another challenge.

answer Thanks for catching that, Lottie! It was a long time coming but I had just 4 more days to get it in before it wouldn't qualify for the April painting, so...

answer I'm sure most of you know, but just thought I'd mention - those categories are for mixed quizzes, on a mixture of artists. Quizzes about any single artist would go into the alphabetical category of their name, and would not qualify.

answer I may regret this but my completion OCD is screaming at me to clear this one up. If it is still available, and against my better judgement, I will take J - Religion.
