Is this a GM perk? I don't get any points for doing quizzes except the Quiz of the Hour when I get 100 points. Reply #361. Sep 03 23, 7:49 PM |

Edzell_Blue... It's not so much that the extra points are specifically 'Gold Member only', but at a certain point, non-Gold Members don't have their scores counted for doing quizzes, so extra points also wouldn't count. You should, however, get the double 'Quizzes of the Hour' credit. So, on the 'Quiz of the Hour' homepage, you should see your total number of quizzes played for the badge increase by two, rather than by one. Reply #363. Sep 03 23, 8:24 PM |

Something must have been reset during the Prestige upgrade because I started to get points. That cam to a halt yesterday when I was about three quarters through trying to get to Tier 2 of 24 hours of history to complete a challenge. Thank you for your responses. Reply #364. Sep 03 23, 8:43 PM |

Does the "erase a score" perk work in the same way as the old mulligans in terms of team league scoring? If I got a 1450 for example, played my Expert mulligan and got a 1350, my 1450 would still count as my highest score for team scoring. Reply #365. Sep 03 23, 10:48 PM |

Thank you, Wesley, for your tips on the Twin Challenge: "1) If your score per question is 17, 19 or 21, you can just get the needed number of answers on any quiz you have not yet played before. You can reach all 10 digits this way. 2) If your score per question is 16, 18 or 22, you can't use it to adjust odd/even. In this case, play to the end digit 5 away (-3, if you need -8) and then replay an old quiz you have scored perfectly on. It's still 5 per in that case, so you only need any odd number correct." I was having a devil of a time with it because of my 19 until I read that. Of course, at first I didn't realize that I was scoring 19 and the old Mash maneuver repeatedly didn't work. I'm not sure that I understand the 16, 18, 22 one, but I'm glad the 19 advice worked for me. Reply #366. Sep 04 23, 10:51 AM |

Verbonica - 16, 18 and 22 can't turn an odd number into an even one or vice versa. Thus, they're not quite as versatile as 17, 19 and 21. However if you use the "replay quiz" GM perk, you still get exactly 5 for each question up to your previous best. So you can take a quiz you scored perfectly on in the past (the past perfect score ensures you'll ONLY get 5s) and replay. Get 1 right, 5 points. Or get 9/10 or 15/15 for 45 and 75 respectively. Now your odd/even is correct (and if you had played to the units digit 5 away from your target before, you're already set) So it can be one extra step with those numbers - using the 5 to fix odd/even. Otherwise it's effectively the same thing. Reply #368. Sep 04 23, 2:06 PM |

Does this help? The easiest way to set your last digit is really to use a mash and get exactly one question correct. You need six times the number of game points as the number of FT points you want, i.e.: 1 point needed - 6 2 needed - 12 3 needed - 18 4 needed - 24 5 needed - 30 6 needed - 36 7 needed - 42 8 needed - 48 9 needed - 54 Your timing can be off by 2 either side and still work: 34, 35, 36, 37 and 38 all work for a 6. If you don't want to intentionally get questions wrong, just hit the others on exactly 60. Reply #369. Sep 04 23, 2:29 PM |

rupert774, the issue that was raised is that the table you just listed worked under the old system for everyone but the multiplier is off now for people with +X quiz scores which complicates the use of that method. Reply #371. Sep 04 23, 3:52 PM |

Read my replies. The method is explained for 19 in reply 342. If you are in 18, you change 19 by 18 in the reply 342. Reply #372. Sep 04 23, 10:04 PM |

Could the New Standings please be expanded? I can only see who is in front of me, not behind. At least put the Player in the Middle of the Table, not at the bottom. Top 100 should be expanded to at least 200. Reply #374. Sep 05 23, 1:23 AM |
