What small and stupid thing has recently gotten your goat?
Mine would be spell checks that never give you the right suggestion for what you want even though you only barely misspelled something.

Just as I expected, I lost "Missouri" duel to a fellow Missourian. Somehow I beat a Floridian several days ago when the topic was "Florida." Dee... that generally happens to me if I accidentally click submit twice. Your score is still there. To see it, go back to the home page, and from there, go to whatever the game was. You should see your name highlighted in the results. Reply #4289. Apr 01 24, 10:36 PM |

I would post this in the ad thread, but that's locked now. Today, for the first time, I've seen ads during a timed game. I am fine with the ads on other screens, even during non-timed quizzes, but during a game where speed is scored, having an ad obscuring part of the screen is absolutely unacceptable. This particular ad shows up as a blue circle with a price tag in the middle of it at the bottom right corner of the screen, and as soon as you start scrolling, it expands across the bottom of the screen and stays with you as you move down the page unless you X it to minimize it. It does not make it go away entirely, as that symbol still stays there at the bottom right. I have seen it in The Mixed Game, the Fifty-Fifty game, and during a Quiz of the Hour. It was even here on the chat board, right before I posted this. It's not constant, but it is fairly regular at this point. How this site has become sluggish and laggy, which it never has been before. Delays after finishing a quiz before it loads to the next page might, in fact, add to your quiz time. My cache and Internet connection are fine. It's this site that needs a clean-up. Reply #4295. Apr 30 24, 6:12 PM |

I've posted about this before, but today's example has a humorous twist to it. I got the Buzzy Bee difficult challenge, and of course the quiz that got me the award was the third to last quiz I clicked in the category (Diddy Kong Racing).
