Sometimes a little over-produced for my tastes but they did squeeze out some catchy songs. I've read criticism of them (probably Rolling Stone mag) that joked that ELO based their career on "I Am the Walrus". Obviously not true but you could do a lot worse as far as Beatles songs go. I've heard their big hits on the radio and always thought they were ridiculously catchy. I got the "Eldorado" album off of itunes and was just blown away. A wonderful concept album with the perfect blend of classical, pop, and progressive elements. I don't take Rolling Stone or most music magazines very seriously but comparing ELO to "I am the Walrus" I consider a compliment. Reply #82. Jan 21 12, 3:13 PM |

I was listening to my Pandora, and this wonderful song came across. Have to please you with it. Best example of this tune was in the movie "Easy Rider". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NnXd7iQIAM Reply #87. Jan 24 12, 10:53 AM |
