One person who makes a huge difference in my life is my next-door neighbour and walking partner. Most mornings, we set out from home around 8.30am and walk one of several routes from here. There always seems to be something interesting to talk about. Yesterday I found it staggering that we walked fairly quickly for about 30 minutes and that the time had passed without my realising. I went for a walk today. It was 10 degrees Celsius which is nice for this time of year. Nearly all the snow is gone. Reply #35762. Apr 09 24, 3:50 PM |

I watched the solar eclipse yesterday through special glasses. We only had 55% coverage here in Florida, but it was still awesome! Reply #35763. Apr 09 24, 6:21 PM |

In Northwest Florida, I got my husband to watch the solar eclipse for his first time. He is 61 years old! He thought it was really cool. Reply #35764. Apr 09 24, 9:06 PM |

I watched the eclipse with a complete stranger who tried to go into a liquor store but it was closed because the clerk was outside watching the sky. So he stood with me. It was special, just coming together to watch this thing, and I'll likely never see him again. Reply #35765. Apr 09 24, 9:21 PM |

We're halfway through autumn here in Australia. I live on the central coast of Western Australia and we're still waiting for things to cool down just a bit. The temp's still around the 36c mark (96f). Reply #35767. Apr 10 24, 12:25 AM |

Just finished knitting a Manchester City scarf for my 9 year old grandson. He says he requires a hat to match ( please ). Got the tape measure..... can't believe how big his head is! Must be the man of the match award he got this week in his junior league game. He's their goalie; didn't let any in and organized the defence lineup, much to the amusement of their manager who says he can retire now. Reply #35769. Apr 10 24, 4:30 AM |

Had a Dr's appointment on Monday. Had to stay an extra 30 minutes because when I finished a total eclipse was just starting and I didn't have the right glasses to go outside. Would have gone blind if I went out. Reply #35779. Apr 11 24, 2:18 AM |

Had 90% totality for the eclipse in New Jersey, an interesting get together with virtual strangers in a baseball field to watch it. Reply #35780. Apr 11 24, 5:14 AM |
