My wife has several vacation days that she has to take before May 1, so she has been taking every other Friday and Monday off since the beginning of the year. We have been painting a room at a time on these long weekends, and we only have our bedroom and our spare bedroom left to do. I wonder what she’ll come up with after the painting is finished? Two weeks ago I had to euthanise my cat. I am absolutely shattered because she was my world. I live in an apartment so there's nowhere to bury her so I had her cremated. I collected the box from the vet yesterday and now she's in a beautiful box in my display cabinet. At my home two dogs have worked out a system. One has perfect timing so she leads them to my closed work door the same time every day, always within 3 minutes. How does she know exactly what time it is? She sits patiently, not seeming to realize I don't know she's out there. Thank you to everyone who left kind words. I have no family so she was my only family which is why I'm having such a difficult time.
