Answer: Cherry and South Platte

Cherry Creek and the Platte River join near what is now downtown Denver, there is a park there called Confluence Park, if you are visiting it is right by the REI superstore.
3. Which of the following is not a suburb of Denver?

Answer: Delta

Delta is acutally located in western Colorado near the Utah border.
4. After the construction of what sporting venue in 1995 did the lower part of downtown Denver experience a resurgance in development and economic boom?

Answer: Coors Field

Coors field was constructed for the Colorado Rockies in what used to be the slums of Denver. It brought sports bars, night clubs, and downtown lofts to the area which is now one of the hot spots in Denver.

Answer: Ruby Hill

Ruby Hill is now a park and a great place for sledding in the winter and softball in the spring and summer.

I used to work for the old Elitch Gardens and the new one is nothing like the old one. The old one had a lot of character and beautiful gardens, today it is being developed into new homes.

I-25 and I-70 meet in Denver and the intersection where they meet looks so tangled they call it the mouse trap. I-25 runs north, south while I-70 runs east, west.

Answer: Pike's Peak

10. The University of Colorado at Denver, the Community College of Denver, and the Metropolitan State College of Denver are all located on one campus, what is the name of this campus?

Answer: Auraria Campus

I believe this is the only campus in the U.S. that houses three separate colleges, it is located in the heart of Denver and is beautiful.
