Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. When does Godot debut?

Answer: "The Stolen Turnabout"

This is the case which saw Luke Atmey get tried for multiple crimes along with Ron DeLite.
2. Godot may debut in one episode, but he appears in a different episode based at an earlier setting. In this episode, he actually appears on the defense bench in assisting Mia Fey. What episode does this take place in?

Answer: "Turnabout Beginnings"

Here, Godot appears under a different identity. His presence here isn't actually explicitly stated to be Godot himself, but it's so incredibly obvious that the game doesn't attempt to hide it, either.
3. As it turns out, "Godot" isn't his real name. What is Godot's actual name?

Answer: Diego Armando

Before he took on the Godot moniker, he was a successful defense attorney. He was poisoned and sent into a long coma. After he awoke, he took on his new identity with a different purpose in mind with the career change.
4. One day, Godot was sent into a coma following an incident where he was poisoned. The person who tried to kill him would become extremely important down the road. Who tried to kill Godot?

Answer: Dahlia Hawthorne

Dahlia was, herself, being suspected of murder. Godot, as Diego Armando, had taken her in for questioning. During questioning, she snuck poison into his cup of coffee, which render him comatose. She was never actually tried for this crime, either, as nobody could figure out who had done it.
5. When recounting his time in a coma, Godot makes a peculiar remark about what caused him to finally awaken. What does Godot say caused him to awaken from his coma?

Answer: The smell of coffee

Godot is associated mainly with three things - the law, coffee, and his iconic personal theme music that consists massively of jazz music. It is therefore hardly surprising that coffee was involved with him here.
6. Godot is a coffee-addict, no question. This is made clear when tells Phoenix how many cups he prepares for a single trial. How many cups of coffee does Godot drink each trial?

Answer: Seventeen

As each trial progresses, Godot will usually casually update the audience of the game as to how many cups he's had. He seems to always save his favorite blend for last, the 17th cup.
7. Godot appears to have little respect for Phoenix Wright for the most part, constantly addressing him with an insulting nickname that rhymes with 'Wright'. What does Godot call Phoenix?

Answer: Trite

Ironically, 'trite' essentially means that something has been overdone and holds little overall value as a result of being overused. Given that Godot is saying this in the middle of Phoenix Wright's third game, it's almost fourth wall breaking in a funny way.
8. In "Bridge to the Turnabout", we learn Godot previously was in a romantic relationship with a very important character to the trilogy. Who was this?

Answer: Mia Fey

In addition to being her boyfriend, Godot was also Mia's legal mentor who helped her along when she was new to being a lawyer. This arrangement was abruptly broken up when Godot was rendered comatose for years after being poisoned.
9. In "Bridge to the Turnabout", one of Godot's biggest weaknesses is finally exposed and thoroughly exploited by Phoenix. What deficiency does Godot have to contend with?

Answer: Being color-blind

Godot cannot see any colors except for grey, black and brown. This proves critical when his ability to see blood on a crime scene is first brought to question.
10. "Bridge to the Turnabout" offers a long, tense and epic trial in which Godot is eventually accused of murdering Elise Deauxnim. Did Godot kill her?

Answer: Yes

Though obviously wrong in the eyes of the law, Godot essentially killed Elise Deauxnim before her body could be possessed by Dahlia Hawthorne to murder Maya Fey. Godot did end up admitting to his crime, was likely sentenced accordingly, and faded off into the sunset with the conclusion of the entire trilogy as a whole.
