Steve Buscemi, a native of Brooklyn, New York, was an FDNY firefighter in Manhattan from 1980-1984. In 2001, following the terrorist attacks on New York City, he rejoined his old fire station as a volunteer and worked 12-hour shifts at Ground Zero.

Buscemi's first acting role was a small part in an episode of the TV sketch comedy "Not Necessarily the News" in 1983. His first movie was 1985's "The Way It Is". He has appeared in many, many movies and TV shows since then, including "Fargo" (1996), "The Big Lebowski" (1998), and "Monsters, Inc" (2001). He has also directed several films and TV episodes.

Tenacious D, comprised of Jack Black and Kyle Gass (though other musicians join them for recording and touring), is a 'comedy rock' act. Tenacious D was formed in 1994; while Jack Black was dabbling in acting at this time (a few bit parts in movies, guest-starring roles in single episodes of TV shows), he was not yet famous as an actor. "High Fidelity" was his breakthrough film role; he was nominated for several awards including MTV movie awards. Black has appeared in many movies and TV shows since then, including a Tenacious D movie, "Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny" (2006).

Other than for his role in "10 Things I Hate About You", Keegan is perhaps better known for his TV work. He had recurring roles on "7th Heaven" and "Party of Five", and made guest appearances on many of the popular sitcoms of the '90s, including "Boy Meets World", "Full House", "Step by Step" and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch".

He also competed in the World Series of Poker several years in a row, as well as charity tournaments for his favourites causes.

Affleck's film career did not take a backseat to poker, however. In addition to acting, he directed his first movie, "Gone Baby Gone", in 2007.

Drew Barrymore owes at least some of her Hollywood success to her own godparent - godfather Steven Spielberg cast a young Drew in his hit 1982 film "E.T. - the Extraterrestrial". She has a famous godmother as well, Sophia Loren.
