Dick Grayson was the person to create the mantle of Robin. It was later taken up by Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown and Damian Wayne.

2. What is Jason Todd most known for?

Answer: Being killed by the Joker

Jason was killed by the Joker in the controversial '88 arc: "A Death in the Family". For the first time ever, readers could call in to vote. In this case, whether they wanted Jason to die or not. Though it's been long rumoured that one person, who hated Jason with a passion, cheated and tipped the scales.

3. Which Robin has NOT been Batman?

Answer: Damian Wayne

Every Robin has been Batman, however brief, except for Stephanie (for obvious reasons) and Damian. Dick was the one to actually take up the mantle after "The Battle for the Cowl" in 2009. He and Damian served as Batman and Robin for a long period of time (in comic book standards).

Dick's full name is Richard John Grayson. His middle name comes from his father; John Grayson.

Although most of the other Robins have been taken in as wards, Damian is Bruce Wayne's one true son by blood. He was first introduced, unnamed, in "The Son of the Demon". He was later re-introduced (and named) in "Batman #655", the start of the arc: "Batman and Son".

Stephanie was first known as Spoiler before she butted her way into being Robin. She then went back to being Spoiler, then went on to become the third Batgirl. Flamebird's identity was Bette Kane.

After a long search to find his true Mother, Jason finally found her in Ethiopia: Dr Sheila Haywood. She turned out to be embezzling from her organization and helping the Joker. She turned her son over to him and watched as he was beat viciously. She was then double-crossed and left to die with Jason. Her last words however were that she was sorry and that Jason was a good son.

8. Why did Tim QUIT being Robin briefly?

Answer: His father found out about him being Robin

His father found out about his son's night life and, needless to say, did not approve. He blamed Bruce for putting his son in danger. He ordered Tim to quit, and since Tim respected his father, he complied. Briefly.

9. Who was Robin for the shortest amount of time?

Answer: Stephanie Brown

Stephanie Brown was fired quite quickly after she disobeyed Bruce's orders twice. She went back to being Spoiler and Tim came back shortly after that.

Dick was severally injured by Two-Face, so Bruce got scared and benched him. Dick eventually managed to convince him to let him back out for patrol.
