Answer: idaho montana

Montana is the state furthest west that's on the eastern side of the Continental Divide.
2. What state's border claims territory in 4 of the 5 Great Lakes?

Answer: Michigan

It claims about half of Lakes Superior, Michigan (surprise), Huron, and just a tiny bit of Lake Erie.
3. What state's borders are NOT made of only straight lines?

Answer: New Mexico

Part of the NM-Texas border is formed by the Rio Grande.

Answer: In Lake Erie, NNW of Erie, PA
