Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. I was the youngest male sibling of the Pevensie children, and the first one of them to meet the White Witch. Little did I know that she had plans to kill my siblings and me! Who played me?

Answer: Skandar Keynes

Keynes, born on September 5th, 1991, in London, England was cast as Edmund in this first instalment of "The Chronicles of Narnia" film series. Edmund doubted Lucy's story, of when she went into the wardrobe and entered a magical world known as Narnia.

However, he went into the wardrobe one day and saw that Narnia existed. He met the White Witch and asked her if he could have some turkish delight. She made him some and said that, if he brought his siblings to her castle in between the hills, she would give him more turkish delight. Eventually all four of the Pevensie children entered Narnia and Edmund went off to The White Witch's castle.

This was where he saw that she had intended to kill all of his siblings and him. She took Edmund prisoner but he was eventually freed. Keynes reprised his role of Edmund in "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" and "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader".

He was also seen in the television films, "Victoria Died in 1901 and is Still Alive Today" and "Ferrari".
2. I was the first Pevensie child to go to Narnia. Who played me?

Answer: Georgie Henley

Henley, a native of Yorkshire, England took on the role of Lucy Pevensie. One day Lucy and her siblings played hide and seek at Professor Kirke's home. Lucy hid inside the wardrobe and went to the back of it. As she did, she felt snow and a tree so she continued to walk and saw that there was land beyond the wardrobe.

The first person she met was a faun named Mr. Tumnus and he asked her if she was a daughter of Eve. Lucy said no and introduced herself by giving Mr. Tumnus her name. Mr. Tumnus told her she was in Narnia and took her back to his residence and gave her some tea.

When Lucy went back to Professor Kirke's house to inform her siblings of what she saw, they did not believe her. However, they eventually saw that Narnia was real. Henley reprised her role of Lucy in "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" and "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader".

Her only other acting credit was starring in two episodes in the TV series, "Jane Eyre".
3. I was the oldest of the Pevensie children and helped Aslan and his army beat the White Witch in the film's final battle. Who played me?

Answer: William Moseley

Moseley got the part of Peter Pevensie for this movie. Since he was the oldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Pevensie, he protected his other brother, Edmund, and both his sisters, Susan and Lucy. He also tried his best to act like the adult child. Peter and his siblings were evacuated to the English countryside to avoid the bombings of World War II.

When Lucy told Peter about Narnia, he told her it was a "jolly good hoax". Later in the film, Father Christmas came and gave Peter a sword called Rhindon as well as a shield.

These came in handy for Peter when he fought in the final battle against the White Witch and her army. Moseley reprised the role of Peter in "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" and "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader".

He was also seen in the television movies, "Cider with Rosie" and "Goodbye, Mr. Chips", the latter of which was released in 2002.

Even though Susan was advised to stay out of the final battle, she refused and lent a hand to assist Aslan's army. With Lucy, she saw Aslan's death and eventual resurrection at the Stone Table.

She got crowned Queen of Narnia at the end of the movie. Popplewell reprised her role of Susan in "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" and "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader". Popplewell had roles in the films, "Mansfield Park", "The Little Vampire" and "Me Without You".

Answer: Jim Broadbent

Kirke was the first to believe Lucy, when she told everyone about how she found Narnia via the wardrobe but did not tell anyone why he believed her. Broadbent had parts in the blockbuster hits, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull", "Moulin Rouge!" and "Gangs of New York".

In 2002, he won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for the film, "Iris". At first, the White Witch developed a friendship with Edmund but she became upset with him when he went to her castle alone. She told him, prior to this meeting, to bring his siblings so he could get more turkish delight. The White Witch sent a couple of her henchmen out to find Edmund's siblings and kill them.

This was also when she took Edmund prisoner. Swinton had parts in the films, "Sleepwalkers", "Constantine" and "Vanilla Sky". She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie, "Michael Clayton".

Answer: Liam Neeson

Neeson, a native of Antrim, Northern Ireland voiced the character of Aslan. Aslan was seen at a gathering with other Narnians, as they prepared for war. Aslan sent many people in his army to go rescue Edmund from the White Witch and they succeeded.

The White Witch asked Aslan that she be allowed to kill Edmund since he was a traitor so he offered to take Edmund's place, which she accepted. On the Stone Table, the White Witch mocked, shaved and finally killed Aslan with her knife. Aslan was resurrected, thanks to a deeper magic that even the White Witch did not know. Aslan's army was victorious in defeating the White Witch's army.

At the film's end, Aslan crowned Peter and Edmund as Kings of Narnia and Susan and Lucy as Queens of Narnia. Neeson was seen in the movies, "Schindler's List", "Batman Begins" and "Taken".

When Lucy got her siblings to go to Narnia, she took them to where Mr. Tumnus lived but there was a note that said Mr. Tumnus had been arrested by the White Witch. We saw Mr. Tumnus at the White Witch's castle, when Edmund went there for the first time.

The White Witch told Mr. Tumnus that he was there at the castle as a prisoner, because Edmund gave him up to her. The White Witch turned Mr. Tumnus into stone. McAvoy guest starred on the TV series', "Shameless", "Foyle's War" and "The Bill".

They invited all four of the children into their house for dinner. That was where they told all of them about Aslan and that there was a sign that the children would be the end of the White Witch's rule over Narnia. Midway through the dinner, Susan, Peter and Lucy saw that Edmund was missing and that was when Mr. and Mrs. Beaver told them he went to go see the White Witch at her castle.

The children wanted to go off and find Edmund but Mr. and Mrs. Beaver told them to not do it since the White Witch was using Edmund as bait, to kill all four of them.

The Beavers took the children to meet Aslan and it was on the way that they took shelter in a cave and eventually met with Father Christmas. French had guest starring roles on the TV series', "Little Britain", "Wild West" and "Watership Down".
