Question 1 of 10
1. In "Meet the Fockers", Greg (Ben Stiller) is, at one moment, left home alone with his soon-to-be one year old nephew Little Jack. He is supposed to take care of the baby following the educational guidelines of Jack Byrnes (Robert de Niro) the baby's grandfather.

Greg easily manages to make a huge mess out of everything and the little baby ends up with his hands glued to a bottle of___?
Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. In this 2003 comedy we meet two brothers, Bob and Walt Tenor (played by Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear) who, apart from common parents and a zest for living, also share a liver. They are glued to one another and stick together no matter what, acting as a very united team.

What is the title of the movie?
Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. "To be with another woman, that is French. To be caught, that is American", says Lawrence to Freddy in the great, fun 1988 comedy "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels". Both characters are 'gigolo' con men - Lawrence is played by Michael Caine and Freddy by Steve Martin (what a team!) - and they live off women who they win over with made-up stories of their unfortunate lives. At one point, Lawrence needs to get Freddy out of his way so he takes him to a party held by a group of English sailors.

What do the sailors do to poor Freddy, in order to keep him at the party until the end?
Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. Let's go back to "Ice Age" for a minute. I mean the animated movie. There's a moment when the weird team - Sid, Manny and Diego - has to take a shortcut through a cave in order to avoid a terrible snow storm. If you've seen the movie you probably know where I'm heading.

During their walk, Sid, the alert and very smart sloth, falls down, and one part of his body gets stuck to the ice floor. Which part?
Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. For the fans of the "American Pie" series of movies, one sticky situation is probably already a legend. It's the part where Jim (Jason Biggs) mistakes a super glue tube for a lubricant, and he ends up with one hand glued to a videotape (it didn't contain a Hollywood movie for sure) and the other to a very private zone of his anatomy. He also ends up in the police 'limelight', with his friends and many neighbours enjoying the show.

In which of the movies do we witness this incident?
Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. John Constantine is blessed (or maybe cursed) with a special gift. He sees the demons who came to Earth trying to 'conquer' it, living among us hidden by perfectly human appearances. His mission is to exorcise them, send them back to Hell or destroy them. In the final scenes of the movie "Constantine" (2005), John, recently diagnosed with lung cancer, slits his wrists in an attempt to summon Satan himself, as he knew he (John) was destined to go to Hell. When Satan arrives the room gets sticky with tar - Satan's feet are covered in it - and with John's blood. Everything is a mess and the scene is not a nice one. But my question for you is nice...

Who plays the title role in "Constantine"?
Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. "Love Actually" is a lovely story about how love is everywhere. We might say it speaks about people sticking together for better or for worse. The 'sticky situation' I'm interested in is one that involves the Prime Minister (Hugh Grant) and his sister Karen (Emma Thompson). On the day when the Prime Minister meets with the American president and ends up 'challenging' him, his sister crafts something for her children, something that involves the use of adhesive.

She says, "What did my brother do today? He stood up and fought for his country. And what did I do? I made a ________"?
Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. In "Miss Congeniality", Sandra Bullock plays an FBI agent who is assigned to compete undercover in a beauty pageant. A complete tomboy, her character needs to be 'remodeled', and the one who embarks on this difficult task is played by Michael Caine.

Among the many instructions and helpful tips and tricks her 'Pygmalion' gives her during the contest, she learns about fixing puffy eyes with hemorrhoid ointment, and how to make the little skirt of her swim suit stay in place by using what?
Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. Jim Carrey once had absolute power, taking over God's (Morgan Freeman) many responsibilities. That happened in the movie "Bruce Almighty". The very next day after Bruce gets to be the Almighty, he finds himself very much challenged by the most important task of his 'mission'. He tries to organize millions of 'informations' he needs to deal with, and at one point he gets the idea to put them on sticky notes. When he does that, he finds himself and his entire house buried under yellow sticky notes.

What are these 'informations' he has to take care of?
Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. This one is probably the stickiest one can ever encounter. "Some Like It Hot", the 1959 movie that is often regarded as the best loved comedy of all time, introduces us to two musicians joining an all-girl band, in an attempt to flee from some gangsters. Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis (Jerry and Joe) disguised as women (Daphne and Josephine) encounter various funny, silly and sticky situations along the way. At the very end of the movie, Daphne (Jack Lemmon) desperately tries to convince the eccentric, old, and love-struck tycoon Osgood Fielding III that they cannot marry, offering a bunch of reasons. Osgood's love doesn't falter and so Daphne finally pulls off his wig and says "I'm a man!"

What is Osgood's answer, and the movie's memorable last line?
Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts

Answer: Rum

"Meet the Fockers" (2004) is the sequel to "Meet the Parents" (2000), and takes us to Florida to meet Greg Gaylord's parents. Played with zest by Barbra Streisand and Dustin Hoffman, the Fockers are completely opposite to their future in-laws, the Byrnes, and they seem to drive Jack Byrnes (Robert de Niro) crazy with their attitude and ideas.

The scene I was mentioning is among the funniest in the movie - Greg is supposed to watch the baby while everybody else is out, and when they arrive home they find Greg wearing a 'hat' with reindeer horns, a fake breast dangling from his chest, Moses the dog 'attacking' Jinxy the cat, and the baby watching "Scarface" on TV with his hands glued to a bottle of rum. Definitely not a brilliant movie or the best comedy ever, but a very funny one with a great cast.

Answer: Stuck on You

"Stuck on You" is a comedy about conjoined twins who have learned to perfection how to cope with the situation, and are the best team ever. They own a hamburger shop on Martha's Vineyard, and everything goes fine, until the day when Walt (Greg Kinnear) decides he wants to go to Hollywood and star in the movies.

This is one of my favourite comedies mostly because it deals with a fresh idea - Siamese twins facing the real life - and because two of my favourite actors do a wonderful job of portraying them. The cast also includes Meryl Streep, Cher and Eva Mendes.

Answer: Glue his hand to a door frame

Another favourite of mine, "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" is almost two hours of giggles and laughs, brilliantly provided by Michael Caine and Steve Martin.

Master con man Lawrence Jamieson (Caine) operates on the French Riviera, hand in hand with the chief of police, taking advantage of rich, impressionable ladies. When Freddy Benson (Martin) appears, Lawrence feels threatened and they start competing, but not after Lawrence teaches Freddy the classy part of the business. Their 'prize' in the competition is Jane Colgate (Glenne Headly), a seemingly wealthy heiress who proves to be a tougher cookie than they imagined. A "must see" movie, in my opinion.
Which part?

Answer: his tongue

This lovely 2002 animated movie from Blue Sky Studios helps us understand how life was for our ancestors during the prehistoric times. It also teaches us about true friendship and perfect teamwork, and explains where the expression "Dumb as a Dodo" comes from.

Maybe not the greatest animated movie ever, but certainly one of the best in its genre - wide landscapes of ice and snow sprinkled with geysers, rocks and mud. The characters are well defined and very human, if I may say so. And I don't know exactly why, but I was enchanted with the idea that, in those times, the animals all could talk and the humans were speechless.

Answer: American Pie 2

"American Pie 2" (2001) is the second movie in the teen comedy series that started in 1999 with "American Pie", and continued with "American Wedding" (2003), and then triggered the spin-offs, "American Pie 4: Band Camp", "American Pie 5: The Naked Mile" and "American Pie 6: Beta House".

The movie brings back the five friends - Jim (Jason Biggs), Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas), Oz (Chris Klein), Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas), and Stifler (Seann William Scott). This time we see them return home after finishing their first year of college and making plans for the summer holiday. They rent a beach house on Lake Michigan, and they get involved in even more embarrassing, but entertaining and funny situations. A likable movie with credible characters.

Answer: Keanu Reeves

Angels, demons, exorcisms, 'to the Hell and back', religious experiences, suicides, biblical references, Lucifer himself and his son, apocalypse and self sacrifice - all are parts of the 2005 movie "Constantine".

Some say it's a bad movie, some say it's good. I, personally, am fascinated with it, and consider that Keanu Reeves does an exceptionally good job playing the main character, a 'detective' working with the supernatural and the occult, saving the humanity by sending demons back to where they came from.
The rest of the cast - Rachel Weisz, Tilda Swinton, Peter Stormare and Djimon Hounsou - brings an extra touch to this story about the eternal clash between good and evil. With the good prevailing, of course.

Answer: papier mache lobster head

With an exceptional cast, in my personal opinion, "Love Actually" is a movie I will never get tired (or bored) of watching. It has humour, action, a bit of mystery even, and lots and lots of love at all ages. The movie takes us through romantic love, brotherly love, best friends love, a lot of flirting, a wedding, a funeral... an awesome summary of real life in all its variety and splendour. Oh, and it all happens around Christmas. The soundtrack is great and helps enhance the powerful message of the movie.

As demonstrated by the eight different couples whose lives and tales unexpectedly intertwine towards the end - love IS all around. If you want to enjoy seeing Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Laura Linney, Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Keira Knightley, Rowan Atkinson, Bill Nighy, Billy Bob Thornton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Claudia Schiffer, then you shouldn't miss "Love Actually".

Answer: hairspray

A truly entertaining and hilarious movie, "Miss Congeniality" presents us with the works needed to organize a beauty pageant, the rivalries and friendships created during it, and introduces us to Miss New Jersey - an undercover FBI agent trying to stop a terrorist bomb attack. Sandra Bullock goes from a sloppy, unpolished tomboy named Gracie Hart, to the super feminine, elegant, attractive beauty that is Gracie Lou Freebush, under the magic wand of her mentor Victor Melling (Michael Caine).

Answer: people's prayers

Bruce Nolan (Jim Carrey) is a TV reporter who encounters a series of misfortunes and feels that God deserted him. Or worse, that God is against him, like in a sort of 'vendetta'. He constantly rants about the lack of luck in his life until God (played by Morgan Freeman) decides to offer Bruce his job, letting him prove that he can do it better. Once he is transformed into the Almighty, Bruce uses his powers in a selfish way, taking care of his own problems only.

He takes revenge on a co-worker who had cheated him, enhances the breasts of his girlfriend, changes his car into a much more expensive and more powerful car, cheats in order to come up with exclusive news and generally performs 'unholy' actions.

The only things that God forbids Bruce to do, when he gives him unlimited powers, is to never tell anyone that he is God and never go against free will.

By the end of the movie, Bruce learns that using all the powers only for self gain is not the way to do things and that it pays to take care of other people's needs too.
Osgood's love doesn't falter and so Daphne finally pulls off his wig and says "I'm a man!" What is Osgood's answer, and the movie's memorable last line?

Answer: "Well, nobody's perfect."

I am thinking that everybody has seen, or at least heard about "Some Like It Hot". The movie is a classic, the cast is brilliant, and Billy Wilder does a perfect job with directing them. The humour is elegant and subtle, relying on inventiveness, wit and timing. The funny moments and quirky situations succeed with the speed of light, keeping the viewer majorly entertained.

If you happen to be one of the people who haven't seen this movie yet, do yourself a favour and find it quick.
