Billboard number 18, October 24, 1960. They were from Bakersfield, California. The group broke up almost immediately after their hit, amidst a dispute over money.
2. In the summer of 1961, this song hit the Top 10. Who made "Pretty Little Angel Eyes" a hit?

Billboard number seven, August 7, 1961. The song was produced by Phil Spector. Lee also sang back up on Barry Mann's "Who Put The Bomp?"

They continue to live off this song even today, as they make frequent appearances in the New York area.

Billboard number one, November 7, 1964. What is there to say about Ben Cartwright? Actually, he recorded several folk/country western style albums in the 60s.
