75 percent is need for enshrinement. If a player receives less the 5 percent, they are dropped from the future ballots.
2. Which of the following players was not part of the 1st class of Hall of Famers elected in 1936?

Answer: Cy Young

Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, Honus Wagner, Walter Johnson, and Christy Mathewson, were elected in 1936. Young was elected in 1937 with Nap Lajoie and Tris Speaker by the writers.

Answer: 226
