5. What team did MSU beat on March 27, 2009, to get to the Elite Eight?

Answer: Kansas

After downing Robert Morris and USC to get to the Sweet Sixteen, the Spartans rallied past the Jayhawks (third-seeded) 76-62. Goran Suton scored 20 points. Morgan's stuff, and Lucas' amazing stop-jumper, were key moments in the game.
