1. In 2007, Detroit quarterback Jon Kitna was sacked 51 times to lead the league. It was still 25 sacks short of the season record, set in 2002 by which quarterback?

Answer: David Carr

Carr was bruised an amazing 76 times in 2002 with the no-name offensive line of the Houston Texans. He survived and came back for the 2003 season to be sacked only 15 times, but then was in the grinder again in 2004 with 49 sacks to lead the league. 2005 saw him sacked another 68 times to lead the league again in a Texans uniform. David left town and was a Carolina Panther in 2007.
2. Before even joining the NFL, I took Washington to a Pac-8 title. I was the 1978 Rose Bowl MVP, then a CFL MVP in 1983. Although I played for the Vikings, Seahawks, and Chiefs, I made my name in Houston for 10 seasons. I set a record for making eight consecutive Pro Bowl appearances for a quarterback. I was also the first quarterback to complete 400 passes in a season. After 17 seasons, I finally retired in 2000. Who am I?

The other receiving greats did not reach the 10,000-yard mark. Jerry set a record for being the first to reach the 15,000-yard plateau in 1995 with San Francisco. Rice also reached the 20,000 mark in 2001 with the Oakland Raiders. After his 2004 season, Jerry was a Seattle Seahawk and retired with a career 22,895 receiving yards.

Answer: Lou Groza

Lou had a stellar 1953 season. When Groza retired in 1973, he had played longer than any other NFL player with 21 seasons under his helmet. Lou had the nickname, 'The Toe', and when he retired, he had amassed an amazing 1608 points which made him the NFLs top scorer.

All the others had a season high of 10. Dick "Night Train" Lane played for 14 seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, Chicago Cardinals, and Detroit Lions.
