2.11 "One More Kiss" Trivia Quiz

It would only take "one more kiss" between Andrew and his "friends" to get past Bree's last nerve... and "one more kiss" to prove Lynette's point to Gabrielle. Julie gave Zack "one more kiss", but this perfect episode was much more than some kisses...

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. At the party in the beginning of the episode, Gabrielle kissed Tom "on behalf of cheerleaders around the world" because Tom said that he was what?

Answer: A marching band geek (who would never have been kissed by a cheerleader)

While Gabi insisted that anyone else would find the harmless kiss to be a nice joke, Lynette found herself feeling uncomfortable about the kiss, and even more so when she learned (from Bree) that Gabrielle was known to have had an affair...
2. How old did Tom say he was when he first kissed someone?

Answer: 18

The common consensus is that 18 is ridiculously old for a teenage boy to be experiencing his first kiss, and that is part of the overall reason that Gabrielle kissed Tom, the marching band player.
3. Matthew Applewhite complains to his mother, Betty, that keeping his brother Caleb locked up is torturing him. What does Betty then suggest Matthew do instead of "spending so much time on the computer"?

Answer: Spend more time down "here" keeping your brother company

Caleb eavesdrops through the padlocked door to hear this conversation.
4. What is the name of the man who dies in this episode after breaking into the Applewhites' house and falling through their steps (and then accidentally shooting himself)?

Answer: Curt Monroe

While obviously not Sister Mary, Curt Monroe was played by Michael Ironside, and it was this character's body that was found in the his own car's trunk. His identity is unknown to all except the Applewhites at the end of the episode.
5. Why does Bree initially threaten to call the police?

Answer: In order to get Andrew's "friend" out of the house

Bree tells Andrew to get his "friend" out of the house immediately, but Andrew comically retorts, "but he hasn't even eaten breakfast yet..."
Bree doesn't find this funny at all, and threatens to phone the police. "Go ahead," Andrew says, without any worries. He tells her he's sure they'd all like to hear about how he's being raised by a murderer... he might have even thrown in a few tears...
6. Bree decides to use a lawyer to fight against her son's word, if that's what she must do.

Answer: True

Andrew, however, is willing to go a step further and lie even more...
7. Who is the last person invited to go bowling?

Answer: Mike Delfino

Susan or Julie (or perhaps both of them together) thought up the idea of inviting Zack to go bowling via Julie emailing Zack. After Zack accepted, Mr. Mike Delfino agreed to "accidentally" meet them there... And they ended up having a great time!
8. The bowling scores were recorded electronically.

Answer: False

The electronic scoring in bowling alleys is much more common nowadays, but in order for the plot to work, the scoring had to be handwritten. Paul Young ends up finding the handwritten bowling scores in Zack's trash can, and this infuriates him...
9. Who crashes her car into the parked car (with the body in it) because she sees Paul Young fighting with Mike Delfino?

Answer: Susan

The entire concept of the Applewhites losing their car keys in the trunk with the dead body, and then the body being found when the trunk pops open after a car crashes into it, is quite comical. Apparently, Susan's idea that they all go bowling wasn't such a great one...
10. Matthew Applewhite, near the end of the episode, asks his mother, "Are you worried?" He is referring, of course, to the fact that they have so much they're hiding that could be discovered now that the body has been found. She says she's not worried yet, but then Betty sees the rest of the housewives discussing something, and they look at the Applewhites. How does Betty Applewhite respond to the neighbors' brief glances, along with waving and smiling back?

Answer: She tells her son, "Now I'm worried".

Some of the housewives agree that Paul seems like the main suspect for the murder, as he's already a murderer, but Edie mentions that she reckons it's the Applewhites. She explains what happened with her unusual encounter with the now dead man, and how he lied to her about the Applewhites' house. Susan then tells the group for the first time about the noises she heard in the house that Betty directly lied to Susan about. (The noises were the clanking Caleb was making as he tried to protest against being chained up.) That is when the ladies look over at the Applewhites...
~
At the end of the episode, Julie also kisses Zack on the cheek, and Paul witnesses this. Narrator Mary Alice Young implies that Paul doesn't understand the human need for people to connect with other people (through kissing)...
