Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Teen
Answer: Wolf
Not to be confused with the movie, "Teen Wolf", this is a television series that premiered in 2011. The series finished six seasons later in 2017.
Tyler Posey played the role of Teen Wolf, Scott McCall, who turned into the wolf on a weekly basis. Scott and his friends would solve mysteries and do his best to live in a normal world, as a wolf.
2. That's
Answer: So Raven
Raven Symone' plays a teenager with all the fun times as Raven Baxter in "That's so Raven". The series ran from 2003 to 2007. Her little brother made the show popular, as Cory Baxter, played by Kyle Massey. The sibling rivalry was always a joy to watch.
Raven can not only can act but can also belt out the songs. She teams up with Julie Andrews in the movie, "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement", for a beautiful duet, "Your Crowning Glory", during the slumber party.
3. Third
Answer: Rock From the Sun
It appears that we like aliens. "Mork and Mindy", "Alf" and yes, "Third Rock from the Sun" starring John Lithgow as Dick Solomon. The show ran from 1996 to 2001. I had to chuckle because his boss was William Shatner from another outta space show, "Star Trek".
4. This
Answer: Is Us
Mandy Moore is one of the headliners for the television show that debuted in 2016. The story is about a family, but in different eras during their lives. Everyone that watches this show usually says, "grab the tissues". I'm not a sappy kinda gal, so it's not one of my favorites, but if you want to watch a good drama, it's perfect.
5. Three's
Answer: Company
Little did Jack Tripper know that he would have so much fun with two girl roommates. Or, so much trouble. Mr. Roper, the landlord, didn't approve of opposite sexes as roommates, until he thought Jack was gay. Then, it was fine.
The show branched out and "The Ropers" had their own show. Jack also spun off to "Three's a Crowd" in 1984.
6. Top
Answer: Chef
These days we have so many different cooking shows. Julia Child started off as the French Chef and then, Gordon Ramsey and other chefs. Everyone wants to cook, prepare awesome dishes and just create food!
"Top Chef" is one of the original chef shows that started back in 2006. Some of the previous judges were Emeril and Wolfgang Puck.
The show has gone on to have numerous spin offs, including, "Top Chef Masters" and "Top Chef Junior".
7. Touched
Answer: By an Angel
Over the years we have seen angels in many forms, both women and men. "Highway to Heaven" with Michael Landon and "Charmed" are just a couple. "Touched by an Angel" was a wonderful show that had Della Reese and her "angels" working weekly for 9 seasons. Roma Downey, John Dye and Valerie Bertinelli all were characters on the show, through the years.
Each week we may have been blessed with special guest stars, including Ann Margaret, Sally Ride and Celine Dion.
Definitely an entertaining show and I really missed it after 9 long beautiful seasons.
8. Twenty One (21)
Answer: Jump Street
Whenever you hear the television show, "21 Jump Street" you automatically think of Johnny Depp. The police show ran for 5 seasons, yet Johnny left after just 4 of them. The show was spun off to the series, "Booker" but was short lived.
The show was made into a movie in 2012 with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill.
9. Two
Answer: Guys and a Girl
This show has a few names. It actually started off as "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place". That answer would have been way too long for my answer, so I went with the updated newer show title in season 3.
What's the show about? Well, two guys, a girl and they hung around a pizza place. Then there were more guys and more girls, so they had to change the name. So realistically, it's a typical sitcom with laughs and fun.
Ryan Reynolds is actually one of the first cast members for the show. He played to the role of Michael and stayed with the show through the end.
10. Teenage
Answer: Mutant Ninja Turtles
Four fun turtles trying to save the world, one shell moving at a time. Nah, that sounds bad. Let's try this. Four Ninja Turtles, performing ninja moves and saving the world one karate chop at a time. Nah, that's not good either.
The cartoon characters fought their hearts out in 1987. They then showed up on the big screen and then back to the cartoon television show in 2012. I love the funny foursome and their wild personalities.
