Does anyone know if Christopher Craig, who was an accomplice of Derek Bentley's in the infamous "Let him have it" trial, is still alive? I can't seem to find any information on the internet.
He was certainly alive when Bentley was pardoned in 1998. He gave a statement at the time that said, "I am truly sorry that my actions on 2 November 1952 caused so much pain and misery for the family of Pc Miles, who died that night doing his duty." http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/142351.stm
He might have changed his name. That could be the reason it is hard to get up to date info. In the UK all you have to do to change your name is start using a new one.

He was still alive as of the end of 2006 as there are no deaths registered for a Christopher Craig between 1991 when released and the end of the index in 2006.
