Roy Orbison.

However, tragedy struck on June 6, 1966, when Orbison and Claudette were riding home from Bristol, Tennessee. Claudette was struck by a semi-trailer truck and died instantly.

It was during a tour in the Midlands of England that on September 16, 1968 Orbison received the news that his home in Hendersonville, Tennessee had burned down and his two eldest sons had died. The property was sold to Johnny Cash, who planted an orchard on it.
