Cuba.

The name Cuba is from the Taíno language. The name Cuba may be translated as either "great place" or "where fertile land is abundant". While the island may have been discovered in 1492,
it was not until 1511 that Diego Velázquez de Cuéllar founded the first settlement at Baracoa.
