These two streams of thought and expression were brought together in the seminal 1967 album East Meets West (also referred to as West Meets East), a collaboration between these two experimental musical minds.
the young Yehudi Menuhin. The recording was made at EMI's Abbey Road Studio 1 in June 1932 and has remained in print on 78, LP and CD ever since.
Perhaps Abbey Road's defining recording, this finds the 13-year-old Menuhin under the composer's baton for what remains one of the great interpretations of the Concerto.
