Amazingly, the stained glass window actually has a moon rock from Apollo 11! The National Cathedral is the only non-government entity to of been given a piece of moon rock. The rock itself is specially sealed in the window to protect it from Earth's elements. Rodney Winfield created the window with inspiration from photos taken during Apollo 11.
