Its proboscis, which is vestigial and non-functional.

The mouth parts are non-functioning! As a result the Atlas moth cannot eat and it must live off of the energy it has stored up. Their lifespan is usually 5 to 7 days as a result. The Atlas moth is the largest known moth in the world.
