What is the etymology of the country name of "Brunei"?

Awang Alak Betatar who would become Sultan Muhammad Shah (c. 1400 CE) was the discoverer and founder of Brunei. Upon his arrival, he is supposed to have declared, "Baru nah" meaning "that's it!". The name "Brunei" comes from this pronouncement.

Sultan Muhammad Shah was Brunei's first Muslim ruler.
