It appears to be a popular misconception that the testicles of an octopus are located on its head. They are, in fact, located in the mantle with the rest of the internal organs. Here is a detailed image.

As for the elephant walrus, a hollow, flabby snout about 15-18 inches (38-5 cm) long on the male gives these seals their name.
