The name tiramisu comes from the Italian phrase "tirami su" which translates to "pick-me up", which probably refers to the effects of the caffeine and cocoa used in the recipe.

Similar to the sport of pelota, jai alai is an indoor sport (usually) that involves bouncing a small ball off a wall with a long woven basket-type scoop known as a xistera. The ball is made of strands of metal that are woven tightly together, and then are covered with goat skin.

The dong was first issued in 1946 as a replacement for the French Indochinese piastre which was being used at the time. Since that time there have been many changes to the currency and its value. Chronic inflation caused rapid devaluation of the dong at the end of the 20th century.
