Rae - This is the on-line book. I've waded through 5 chapters but can't find any time definition - although there is a mention of the Darlings' saying the children will return 'Thursday week'.

Also I remember that when the children returned to their home they found out that Mr Darling, very upset that it was he who was responsible for the children going because he banished Nana, had been sleeping in the dog kennel. So I suppose it was somewhat longer than three hours that they were gone.

They landed on Big Ben at 7 o'clock... they all landed on the minute hand and it slid to 7:15. When they return, the mother turns the light switch and the time says 11 o'clock.
