It's really one for the Brits - and those of a particular age, too. He was the baby who used to appear regularly on "Blue Peter" to educate and inform children as to how babies grow and develop. He was often on the programme with his mother. And as to what he is doing now, well, I hoped that there might just be someone out there who knew.
Daniel Scott was "adopted" by presenters John Noakes and Valerie Singleton in 1968 and became the Blue Peter baby when he was aged 14 weeks. He made regular appearances on the show until he was two. It was later revealed that he had dropped out of school and took drugs. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/education/specials/drugs/351602.stm
I knew Daniel and his sister Laura when they lived in Beaminster, Dorset and Meavy, Devon. I can picture Daniel now with his beautiful blue eyes. Laura and I were good friends and spent many happy times together during school holidays. We lost touch, sadly, but I'd love to know how they both are, hence my googling 'blue peter baby'. So if you can help Royalblushed, please let me know. My name is Kate.
