Depending on the pronunciation, w may have fewer syllables. I remember the airline TWA used to call themselves TeeDubWay in their welcome announcements, although what part of that was the w I'm not sure.
And isn't George's middle name Dubya?

Depends on where you're from, or what you think of him.

As far as TWA is concerned, I started flying that airline alone at the age of 13, and I can't recall that the flight attendants used fewer than four syllables. Again, that depended on the their regional origins.

They use GSW on 'CSI' all the time, instead of just saying "gun shot wound."
