Subject: Who the heck am I?

Posted by: jolana
Date: Jul 04 10

Following a very popular thread started by Gillimalta on 139 Class Board which ceased to exist I´ve decided to continue.

The rules are simple. I think I am someone and you ask some yes/no questions. The one who has the right guess is "it" and can continue.

So, who the heck am I?

Is he known more for supporting roles? Was he acting on stage, maybe on Broadway?

Thanks CC.....his TV series, The Murdoch Mysteries looks as if it could be good but unfortunately being profoundly deaf I cannot watch it as either the TV station or the Show's producers are too chintzy to provide Captions.

Well on to another subject, this time a completely different field of endeavour....we are looking for a famous English Scientist.

No, he was born almost a couple of centuries after Newton and his fame is in a different direction.

To clarify: does "his fame was in a different direction" mean a different scientific field than Newton's (physics, laws of motion, law of gravitation) or does it mean he was famous not for science, but for something else?
