Dear Rexfellis, That is good news--not that you had to have hernia surgery, but that it went well, you still got to spend time with your wife and son, and that you spent the day reflecting on the true meaning of Memorial Day. It was Christmas time and I had just returned home with several large department store bags full of goodies. I unloaded on the dining room table and got the wrapping paper, scissors, tape, bows and all the trappings for wrapping. The empty bags were at the end of the table. Out of the corner of my eye I saw that the cat had jump up on the table and was sticking her nose into one of the large shopping bags. Something startled her. She jumped to the floor but her head managed to get through the hand loop of the bag and it followed her to the floor. Her eyes got wide and she tore off through the house trailing the rustling bad behind her. I found her under the bed, eyes wide, bag still attached. When I came close, she took off again and I managed to snag the bag as she went racing by. To this day she still runs when she hears a plastic bag rustle. I couldn’t stop laughing. Reply #18270.
