Subject: What Song am I?

Posted by: Mariamir
Date: Nov 29 12

Following the same rules as the other "What ____ am I" threads, the point of this thread is that you ask yes or no questions until someone guesses the correct song. That same person then chooses the next song.

No the band's hit in UK was an original song - this song has been covered by others such as David Bowie

Published within the last five years, this song has topped the charts in many countries and won quite a few awards. And it is not exactly main stream.

I first saw a different video to the song, an almost poetic interpretation. The original video to the song on the other hand is quite haunting.

The song has been covered dozens of times, the video went viral, companies have been queueing up to make the record. The artist, whose name is not a household name, said about it "You don't want a song to be bigger than yourself".

Yes, "Take me to Church" by Hozier. I first saw the interpretation of a Ukrainian ballet dancer...

Your turn, Vee!

Thanks, Vee. I'll go with a song written by a singer and songwriter - at that time also band member - while he was drunk.
