There's a paradox in your question, though. If someone tells you a movie with a good twist ending, then you KNOW going in that there's a twist, and you might be able to guess it before it's revealed. That in itself can easily ruin the twist. Reply #1. Oct 10 15, 1:50 AM |

*sigh* This is true... The surprise twist ending is by far the best, but I enjoy them either way. The last one I watched was Oldboy, and I did not see that one coming. Reply #2. Oct 10 15, 9:10 AM |

I could fib and tell you about movies which I swear have no twist ending. I doubt it would work though. You're too smart to fall for it. Reply #3. Oct 10 15, 9:34 AM |

I state upon my oath....baloney....lol Try "Now You See Me". No twists, no turns, no surprises. Rather a dull movie..on second though...never mind...it probably won't keep your interest....good actors....but that doesn't matter....it's just too boring as it has absolutely zero twists! Not one twist in the entire movie. Forget I suggested it. Reply #4. Oct 10 15, 9:44 AM |

The last movie to take me completely by surprise was Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Reply #7. Oct 14 15, 9:38 PM |

If you like movies with twists, try the Humphrey Bogart vehicle "The Big Sleep." I've seen it many times and still can't figure it out completely. Reply #8. Oct 14 15, 10:15 PM |

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels happened to be on the other day, so I watched it. That was a very cute movie! I really liked it. Reply #9. Nov 01 15, 3:45 PM |

I've never seen that one, Mira. Now you've got me intrigued! Thank you! "The Gift" really surprised me. I didn't see that ending coming, at all. "The Sixth Sense" -- not even one clue. It helps to not listen or read any reviews first, too. If I hear there is a "twist," for me, it's ruined. Well, not "ruined," I suppose, since I'm officially intrigued by "The Big Sleep." Forget that "ruined" stuff. I watch movies that twist at the end over and over. "Don't Look Now," an older film (older than the others I've listed) was fascinating. But my favorite is "Memento." I've never seen another movie filmed like this one. Just don't watch it backwards. Reply #10. Jan 04 16, 6:54 AM |

"Now You See Me" -- adding that one to my list to check out, too. Thanks, LL! Reply #11. Jan 04 16, 6:54 AM |

I figured out the "twist" of the Sixth Sense from the commercials. I was hoping I was wrong but I wasn't. It's boring to watch a movie and know how it will end. Reply #12. Jan 04 16, 7:53 AM |

"Wait Until Dark". An oldie but a goodie. Reply #13. Jan 04 16, 8:19 AM |

No Way Out was one. Wild Things was another, mind you there were so many twists in that one... Not a film, but a recent TV series here was You, Me and the Apocolypse. I felt terribly cheated at the end of it. Reply #14. Jan 04 16, 8:47 AM |

Shutter Island has a knockout twist ending. Psycho still has my favorite twist at the end. Reply #18. Jan 04 16, 10:36 PM |

Shutter Island was really twisted, Steve! And oh no, Psycho has a twist at the end??? I've never made it all the way through that one, but I've tried and still want to. Sort of. Don't tell me! But I had no idea it had a twist... OH! Wait! Of course it does! Whoops! I'm writing down all these movies I haven't seen yet. I'm loving this thread right now! Reply #20. Jan 05 16, 12:29 AM |
