Answer: The bird's nest

After Atta rescues Flik, Flik tells her to go to the bird's nest that he, Dot, and the circus bugs see earlier in the movie. Atta, who sees the bird but never sees the nest, doesn't understand what Flik is doing but trusts him and obliges. Hopper finds Flik there and threatens to kill him, but then the bird appears. Hopper thinks it's another fake bird and taunts it. Then he discovers that the bird is real. The bird captures Hopper and feeds him to her chicks.

When the "Warrior bugs" are revealed to be circus bugs and Flik is revealed to have lied about what kind of bugs he brought to the island and whose idea it was to build a fake bird, the queen and Atta banish Flik and the circus bugs from the island forever. They then decide to get as much food as they can for the offering, but Hopper isn't happy with the offering. He then asks all the grasshoppers to get all the food on the island, and when they've eaten all the food, Hopper will kill the queen.

Molt is thoroughly entertained by the show when he sees it and doesn't care that the purpose of it was to rescue the queen. He doesn't want to oppress the ants and only does so earlier in the movie because he really doesn't want to anger Hopper. With Hopper dead, Molt is free to join the circus and is grateful that they gave him a chance.

The Blueberry Scouts are a group of child, female ants. They have a hideout in a blade of grass. They wear yellow leaves with black spots to signify their membership of the club. One of the grasshoppers finds one of those leaves just outside their hideout (but he doesn't notice the hideout). He starts wearing it just for fun. Another grasshopper in the area reminds him of the grasshoppers' plan, which is to find and eat all the food on the island and then kill the queen. The grasshoppers had no idea that a group of ants overheard their plan.

P.T. Flea is the leader of a failing circus. When all his employees fail to entertain the audience and get in fights with the audience, and when their final act doesn't go as planned, P.T. Flea fires everyone.

Flik, the ants, and the "warrior" bugs were building the bird and not collecting the food for Hopper. They had finished hanging the bird when P.T. Fleas showed up looking for his circus bugs. The bugs tried to hide from P.T., but were discovered under a leaf. Flik and the bugs were banished from Ant Island after their ruse was discovered. They only returned when Dot found them and told them that Hopper was going to kill the queen.

Slim was a walking stick who was often cast as props, such as a broom, pole, or splinter. He was tall and thin with two sets of arms. Because he was wingless and couldn't fly, Francis carried him when need be.

P.T. Flea thought that the fake bird was a real one. He set it on fire and Hopper then realized it was a fake.

At the beginning of the movie, Atta hates Flik because many of his inventions don't work properly and cause serious problems for the island. However, as the movie progresses, Flik's ideas work better and better. In addition, Flik stands up for Atta more than once when Hopper tries to demean her. So, Atta's feelings about Flik change. At the end of the movie, Atta becomes the queen and Flik is engaged to the queen. Flik's best friend, Dot, becomes the new princess.

After the Blueberry Scouts overhear the grasshoppers' plan to eat all the food on the island and kill the queen, Dot decides to ask Flik to come back so he can come up with an idea that will save them. She leaves the clubhouse and then accidentally bumps into Thumper, alerting him, who then alerts the other grasshoppers, to her presence. Dot is forced to run for her life, and by doing so, accidentally runs into a canyon. It appears she is going to die, but then it turns out that her wings had grown enough that she could fly. She then flies across the canyon, finds Flik and the circus bugs, and asks Flik to come back.

When Flik first meets them, he sees them pretending to be Robin Hood and his merry men so they can fight off a group of flies who were bullying them. Flik thinks that the act is real, and he hires them to fight the grasshoppers. They think he's hiring them to perform at a banquet so they accept the job. When they come to Ant Island, the other ants think that they are warrior bugs because they are big, because that's what Flik said he'd bring to the island, and because the ladybug said that the when the grasshopper came, the circus bugs were going to "knock them dead"! The ladybug meant that figuratively as in they were going to put on a great show, but the ants took that literally and they celebrated the freedom that they thought the "warrior bugs" would bring them.

Flik told the other ants that Hopper needed the ants to gather food for him because Hopper couldn't get food on his own. When the ants heard this, they revolted. Hopper was killed by a momma bird who used him as food for her babies.

P.T. Flea owned the circus. Near the beginning, he fired all the circus bugs, but came to find them later because his "Flaming Death" act was so successful. He was the one that revealed to the ants that the bugs Flik brought back were circus bugs, not warriors.
