Rockwell landed the role of Wild Bill Wharton. Wild Bill was a prisoner on death row and it was revealed in the movie that he was the one who killed Mr. and Mrs. Detterick's two daughters. This occurred when John grabbed a hold of Paul and used his supernatural powers to show him just how the two daughters died. In one scene, Wild Bill looked at one of the guards and then spat on him so this led to his spending time in solitary confinement for a short while. Near the end of the movie, Percy got out his gun and shot Wild Bill dead while he was in his cell. Rockwell acted in the films "Charlie's Angels", "Frost/Nixon" and "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind".
