Answer: Pain and Panic

Pain and Panic were the two sidekicks to Hades. Hades told Pain and Panic to inform him when the Fates arrive. They failed to tell him when he went to Mount Olympus that the Fates had arrived. Hades blew a gasket, and said that he would turn them into some kind of creature, after his meeting with the fates.

Answer: The statue comes to life

When he is at the statue it comes to life and reveals to Hercules that he was orginally a god on Olympus.

Answer: Hercules saved Meg's life.

Hercules traded his life for Meg's life. Moments before he was going to die, Hercules was restored to a god. Hades went crazy when he realized Hercules was alive.

Answer: Cleopatra

This is said by Philoctetes (Phil) when showing Hercules his room of Hero-training. He was showing Hercules the Mast of the Argo, the ship sailed by Jason and the Argonauts. This happened when Hercules was still wimpy, after he had found out his father was Zeus. When saying this, Phil was scolding Hercules for walking into a massive log, which turned out to be the Mast of the Argo.

Answer: A fish

This causes the river guardian to laugh and Meg to sigh.

Answer: Susan Egan

Susan Egan was famous for her performance as Belle in the broadway version of "Beauty and the Beast". Paige O' Hara played Belle in the animated version of "Beauty and the Beast", Jodi Benson played Ariel in Disney's "The Little Mermaid" and Kristen Chenoworth is another famous broadway actress. Originally, Susan Egan was not allowed to even audition for the role because all the directors saw her as Belle from "Beauty and the Beast" and Meg was more of the "Barbara Stanwyk" type character. But, eventually, Susan Egan got the audition and it obviously all worked out.

Answer: The River Guardian

Although it seems like Meg is - to quote Phil - "the basic D.I.D.- damsel in distress", she is actually trying to enlist the River Guardian's help in Hades' ongoing fight against Zeus and the other gods and godesses on Mt. Olympus. Hercules fights the River Guardian in a slapdash way, provoking a huffy response from Phil. Meg utterly charms Hercules - or Herc, as she calls him - and he watches slack-jawed as she slinks away.

Answer: Megara

She introduced herself after Hercules beat Nessus: "Megara. My friends call me Meg. At least they would if I had any friends. So, did they give you a name along with all those rippling pectorals?"

Answer: Pegasus

While Hercules was still a baby, Zeus made him a friend. He made Pegasus out of cirrus, stratus, and cumulus clouds. When Pegasus came to life, he and baby Hercules butted heads, then fall asleep together.

Answer: Phil

Philoctetes, or Phil as his friends call him, is half man, half goat, which is called a Satyr.

Answer: Panic

Pain and Panic were sent to kidnap baby Hercules. They changed into children so that Hercules would save them and release a monster in the process. Hades sent them to trap Pegasus so Hades could get to Hercules.

Answer: Centaur

On the way to Thebes, a scream is heard from a "damsel in distress". Megara, the damsel, is being held by Nessus, the Centaur. Hercules fights him and knocks the Centaur unconscious so that she can escape.

Answer: Scar

An artist is painting Hercules on a vase and he is dressed in a robe from Scar's skin. Well, Zazu always said, "he would make a marvelous throw-rug!"

Answer: just can't change

This is said by Phil after Megara sacrifices herself for Hercules, causing her to be crushed by the pillar, and technically die. Fortunately, Hercules is brave and rescues her soul from the River Styx, saving her life. After Phil says this, Hercules argues, "Yes they can," and takes off on Pegasus to go rescue her.

Answer: Thebes

Phil says that people in Thebes are "a mess" because they live in a "city of turmoil".

Answer: James Woods

Vincent Price was famous for his work on many villainous characters. He also provided the voice for Ratigan, the villain from the, "Great Mouse Detective". Jeremy Irons provided the voice for Scar, the villain in, "The Lion King". Rip Torn voices, Zeus, Hades's brother and Hercules' father. When James Woods went to audition for the role of Hades he tried acting as comical as he was in the movie because he was in that kind of mood that particular day. This audition changed the whole personality of the character because Hades was originally supposed to be a dark, sinister character....but James Woods changed all that! Actually, Jack Nicholson was supposed to play Hades but he was later refused of the role.

Answer: Lythos, Hydros, Pyros and Stratos

Hades freed them from the underground prison so they could destroy Zeus altogether.

Answer: Superstrength

When Pain and Panic were feeding Hercules the formula, a farmer and his wife stumbled upon Hercules, and Hercules did not drink the whole formula. Since he was human, Hercules couldn't rejoin the gods, but he was raised by the farmer and his wife who had found him.

Answer: Meg

Megara meets Hercules while she is trying to keep away one of Hades' monsters. Hercules think she is in trouble so he comes to rescue her.

Answer: Charlton Heston

Charlton Heston narrated the beginning of the movie moments before the five Muses took over and sang the rest of the narration. He can be heard on the soundtrack beginning the movie.

Answer: She sold her soul

Meg is forced to work for Hades. She had sold her soul to him to save her boyfriend's life, who ended up running away with another girl afterwards. She despises it, but she must work for Hades.

This is said by Pain and Panic when Hades realizes that Hercules is still alive, and in fact able to defeat one of his monsters. Hades had heard Meg mention Hercules, and Pain and Panic are trying to say that there could be more than one Hercules in the world. After this, Hades says, "I'm about to rearrange the cosmos, and the one schlemiel who can mess it up is waltzing around in the world!"

Answer: She sold her soul to him

The movie doesn't go into it, but it says that Meg sold her soul to Hades to save her boyfriend's life, and then he ran off with some "babe" (to quote Hades).

Hercules discovers that the Hydra grows three heads every time it loses one when he is lying dazed on the floor, with Phil standing anxiously over him. Phil glances up, and sees that Hydra is not dead, and is now sporting three new heads. Hercules has to fight the Hydra all over again, ending up swallowed. The people of Thebes all think he is dead, and turn to leave, when a slicing sound behind them tells them that Hercules has defeated the Hydra.

Answer: Penelope
