Jurassic Park (1993) Trivia Questions

Answer: Henry Wu

Henry Wu is a geneticist, and has a brief scene in the park laboratory, where we see a velociraptor egg hatch. He explains some of the science behind the creation and care of the dinosaurs, but he is seen multiple times erasing something on his clipboard, alluding to the fact that mistakes are being made.

Answer: Brachiosaurus

They slept in the tree because they were lost in the park. Over night they stayed in a tree and in the morning the Brachiosauras came, eating the leaves from the tree they were in.

Answer: "Hold on to your butts."

One of the times he said this was when he switched the mainframe off. Mr. Arnold works at Jurassic Park and helps run the automation systems for the entire park. This includes the tour, power and security.

Answer: Gets eaten by the T-Rex

After Gennaro sees the T-Rex can get out of its paddock, due to the power outage, he runs from the Ford Explorer and into a bathroom. Later when Malcolm tries to get the T-Rex's attention away from the kids with a flare, he runs toward the bathroom, and the bathroom structure falls, because of the T-Rex. Gennaro begins to move, and the T-Rex eats him.

The gatekeeper at the beginning gets killed by a raptor, Gennero gets eaten by the T-Rex on the toilet, Nedry is killed in his car by a Spitter, Arnold is killed by a raptor in the maintenance shed, and Muldoon gets attacked by a raptor heading to the shed.

The mosquitos just fly right up to the dinosuars and suck their blood. Some got caught in the sap for the InGen people to find, millions of years later.

Answer: Donald Gennaro

Donald Gennaro is the only character to be killed by a tyrannosaurus rex. On the tour, he gets scared and runs from his car to a small bathroom. He is seen sitting on the toilet when the t-rex blows the bathroom down, and he is quickly chomped and killed.
He knew of the serious safety concerns, and the death of the gatekeeper, but he still came to the island.

Answer: Dilophosaurus

Dennis is the man who steals dinosaur embryos and wants to give them to a man called Dodgson. He wants to sell 15 different embryos for loads of money. The Dilophasurus kills Dennis by blinding him with its venom. The Dilophosaurus is the first dinosaur on the park's tour.

Answer: A Flea Circus

When John is eating the melting ice cream with Ellie, he talks about his first attraction which was a flea circus. He states that he didn't actually have fleas, just motorized attractions (trapeze, ropes, ETC.)

Answer: "Clever Girl!"

He says "Clever girl" as soon as he knows he has been out-witted by two raptors on his way to the maintenance shed. This is a reference back to when Muldoon is talking to Grant about the intelligence of the alpha female raptor.

You can see the logo on the helicopters. InGen did all of the research and cloning on the dinosaurs.

Malcolm says this to Grant about Ellie. And Grant answers with, 'You have no idea.'

Answer: Triceratops

The triceratops was diagnosed with plant toxicity by Dr. Ellie Sattler, who remained behind to finish out the tranquilizer.

Answer: Ray Arnold

"Hold on to your butts", which is one of the most iconic quotes from "Jurassic Park", is said by Ray Arnold. Most of the things that he says are with a cigarette hanging from his lips.
Ray tries to get the computer systems running again, but he is attacked by a dinosaur in the maintenance shed, and all that we see of him after that is a dismembered arm.

Answer: The Tyrannosaurus comes and attacks the raptors.

The Tyrannosaurus crashes through the wall and bites one Raptor. Then the other Raptor attacks it, whilst the people are escaping, the Rex and Raptor are fighting, the Rex kills it and gives a loud roar.

Answer: Central Park

Ian Malcolm also demonstrates this theory by using drops of water on Ellie's hand to show variable change. She is interested to learn about it, as she hasn't heard of Chaos Theory before. For more information on this, look up "the butterfly effect".

Hammond is clearly upset at the number of bugs in Jurassic Park's computers and accuses Nedry of having 'Butter-fingers'. Hammond ends the conversation by stating "I don't blame people for their mistakes, but I do ask that they pay for them."
Nedry's response: "Thanks Dad." Nedry's dissatisfaction with his job is what ultimately makes him sell the embryos to Dodgeson.

Answer: Richard Attenborough

Attenborough was in this movie and its sequel, "The Lost World". He also starred in a remake of the classic "Miracle on 34th Street".

Bob Peck (I) played Muldoon. He died of cancer on April 4th, 1999.

In the movie, John Hammond is the only main character to escape the island physically unharmed. His clothes stay clean and white, and he even has his cane at the end.

While John Hammond lives in the movie, he doesn't make it off the island in the novel. He is attacked and killed by a group of procompsognathus dinosaurs, which we do not seen until "The Lost World: Jurassic Park", the sequel to "Jurassic Park".
