Jack is calling out to his pet ghost dog Zero, as they are flying. He is about to be hit by the Army's giant gun. This part is close to the end. He has handed out many of his mutilated toys and the kids have called the police. They have set up huge machine guns to destroy the fake Santa. At first Jack believes that they are simply celebrating, but when a couple of the bombs almost hit him, he realises that he is in a lot of trouble. How can Jack get away?

Lock, Shock, and Barrel are "Halloween's finest trick-or-treaters". Jack tells them to get Santa for him, so he'll be able to pretend to be Santa on Christmas Eve. Little does he know that Lock, Shock, and Barrel are involved in a scheme with Oogie Boogie.

When Jack is telling Oogie's boys to capture the leader of Christmas Town the spider crawls off the mayor's shirt and goes into the microphone. If you look closely in all the scenes with the mayor in it you will see the spider there.

This is the scene where Jack has fallen into Christmas Town. He is singing about the wonder and beauty of it. There are millions of different colours, and the residents are all happily playing with one another. Jack has never seen anything like it. His heart is aching with a need to be a part of it. He will soon go back to Halloween town, loaded down with tonnes of Christmas presents, where he will convince the monsters to make Christmas theirs.

Oogie Boogie is the meanest thing in Halloween town, and he has Lock, Shock, and Barrel working for him. Oogie Boogie loves gambling, eating, and scaring innocent people. In an alternate ending, Oogie Boogie is actually Dr. Fickelstein getting revenge on Sally for paying attention to Jack and ignoring him.

Ken Page did a fantastic job in portraying Oogie boogie. He later played Deuteronomy in 'Cats'. Oogie Boogie is the evil dude in the film, who loves to gamble.

Jack has gone flying off, to ruin Christmas (handing out the monstrous presents), and Sally is singing her solo. This line is the first line in the song. She knows that something is wrong. The song is about how no one will listen to her. She believes that she has seen the last of Jack, and in some weird way, she thinks this is all her fault. Everyone else in Halloween town thinks that the Christmas presents are great, and besides Sally, no one actually realises that it isn't working out right.

Everyone in Halloween starts 'making Christmas', but they don't understand how to make Christmas because they are all from Halloween. They think that Christmas is supposed to be scary, not fun. So they start making mean toys because they think that people will like them.

This happens as Jack is going in to the graveyard to sing his first song. The saxophone player means this as a compliment but this reminds Jack of his sadness.

Jack and Sally were best friends, but they were secretly in love with each other. Sally tried to help Jack by freeing Santa Claus from Oogie Boogie, but she ended up getting caught as well.

Jack is wallowing in self-pity, after being blown to smithereens. He has ruined Christmas, when all he wanted to do was make the children happy. He soon realises, that their screams actually made him feel like he used to (happy). This Quote describes how he has gone back to his old scary self again. He no longer feels the need to be part of Christmas. After this startling realisation, he heads back to Halloween Town to save Sally and Santa Claus.
