Answer: "I'm fine, just got the wind knocked out of me."
Horvath had a tough time in the battle of Ramelle. He took out multiple Germans, including armored vehicles, as well as saving the lives of many Americans, most notably, Upham. He ran out of ammo and even resorted to throwing his helmet to beat the Germans back. He was shot many times, in the leg, back, side, etc. but continued to fight the pain and Germans. He actually made it behind the barricades on the other side of the bridge, and merely said, "I'm fine, just got the wind knocked out of me," when Miller asked if he was alright. He soon died afterwards.
