Answer: Uncover his feet and lay there.
Naomi was playing matchmaker in this chapter, as she knew Boaz would be the perfect husband for Ruth. Normally a woman lying at the feet of a man was considered improper, but Naomi believed that this was the best course of action for Ruth.

Answer: He was happy to let her gather there.
Boaz was a good guy himself, and he was happy to let Ruth gather. He also seemed to be concerned for her safety and he instructed her to stay with the other women who were gathering in his fields and not to go to any other field. He told her he would instruct the men in his fields to leave her alone and respect her (per Ruth 2:8-9 [NIV]).

Answer: Until the end of the wheat harvest
Naomi and Ruth arrived back in Bethlehem "at the beginning of the barley harvest" (Ruth 1:22b, NKJV); Ruth 2:23 tells us that Ruth continued to glean in Boaz' fields "...until the end of barley harvest and wheat harvest" which implies that, as one would expect, the wheat harvest followed the barley harvest.

Answer: to gather
Glean is gathering little by little to be more specific. In the Bible, the poor were the ones that did the gleaning. The owners of the field didn't harvest the edge of the fields, they left that for the poor people in the land.

Answer: Her mother-in-law, Naomi
The verse is recited by brides (or sometimes the bride and groom both) during some Christian weddings. The next verse which may be included reads: "Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me" (Ruth 1:17).

Answer: What is barley?
Ruth 2:23. Ruth came during the barley and wheat harvest. According to the law, the gleanings of the harvest, which was what was missed by the reapers, were to be left for the poor and the widows. The reapers were not to go over the fields a second time. Ruth was both a widow and poor.

Answer: Salmon
Ruth 4:21 lists Salmon as the father of Boaz. Matthew 1:5 agrees that Salmon was Boaz's father; Matthew adds that Salmon's wife and Boaz's mother was a woman named Rahab. Many Christians believe that the Rahab was the same Rahab from the book of Joshua, although some do argue that she was a different Rahab. (I personally believe that the harlot of Jericho and Boaz's mother were the same Rahab after she gave up her life of sin. If they were different women, what was Matthew's point of even mentioning the name "Rahab"? Any other "Rahab" wouldn't have been as famous as the one from the book of Joshua; therefore, I think that Boaz's mother's name would have been irrelevant if she was an unknown Rahab.)
According to the Wikipedia article about Salmon, his father, Nahshon, was with Moses during the exodus from Egypt, so Salmon was probably one of the Israelites who entered the promised land with Joshua. Salmon was possibly one of the spies who Rahab sheltered under her roof.
