Written by Dean R Koontz. This is a story of a dog and a "monster" that were lab experiments. The dog being the "good guy". They both escaped from the lab and the story tells of their travels. The dog found a home with a single man and the monster followed them everywhere they went because he wanted to kill the dog.

This dog was very smart and could use the letters from a Scrabble game to spell words to tell his owner what he wanted.

Another good book by Stephen King. An author by the name of Paul Sheldon ends up having a terrible car accident on the highway. He awakes to find himself in a bed that is not his own. Instead, an ex-nurse named Annie Wilkes is standing over him, telling him she is his number one fan.

Answer: The Da Vinci Code

Awesome book by Dan Brown. The main character, Robert Langdon, becomes involved in finding the killer of the famous curator of the Louvre, Jacques Sauriere. In the process, he learns the killer's motive - to find the location of the eminent Holy Grail that he too seeks to find. The detective seeks the location of the Holy Grail to answer questions about its significance and meaning while he helps his accomplice and the granddaughter of the curator, Sophie Nevew, find the truth about her family.

Written by Robin Cook. Robin Cook, an ex-doctor, writes captivating novels with a medical spin. 'Coma' is one of his best.

Answer: The Rainmaker

Book by John Grisham. A lawyer is fighting for a family whose son, Donny Ray, dies of leukemia. He couldn't get medical attention because his insurance company refused to cover his medical expenses. Now the insurance company was being sued by Donny Ray's parents.
