Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Laugh vendor brawn?

Answer: Lavender Brown

Lavender Brown, a Sixth Year Gryffindor, becomes Ron's girlfriend temporarily. She calls him "Won Won," gives him a dreadful gold necklace with the words "My Sweetheart" on it for Christmas, and snogs him whenever possible. (In the U.S. we call this "making out.") LB is also very jealous of Hermione, with good reason.
2. Greet sure thou self?

Answer: Kreacher the house elf

After Sirius Black's death, Harry inherits his godfather's home and the (extremely unwilling) services of Black's house elf. Dumbledore suggests that Harry send Kreacher to work in the kitchens at Hogwarts. Later, Harry sets Kreacher (and Dobby, Harry's biggest fan) the task of spying on Draco Malfoy. It's they who discover that Draco is spending time in the Room of Requirement.
3. Roof fuss skim chore?

Answer: Rufus Scrimgeour

Scrimgeour replaces Cornelius Fudge as Minister of Magic. Unfortunately, the new head of the wizarding community is just as poor a leader as the old one. Unsuccessfully, Scrimgeour tries to persuade Harry to become the ministry's "poster boy" (Harry's term).
4. Crib bin coil?

Answer: Crabbe and Goyle

Draco's two hulking, lame-brained sidekicks spend most of the book transfigured into girls, working as sentries as Draco tries to carry out his assignments from Voldemort.
5. Raw nun hair my knee?

Answer: Ron and Hermione

This pair--destined to marry one day, no doubt--spend much of their sixth year tormenting each other by going out with others (notably Lavender Brown and Cormac McLaggen). By the end of the book, however, they seem like a definite item. (Don't remember seeing them snogging, though!)
6. Blaze sub beanie?

Answer: Blaise Zabini

This Slytherin's mother is a famous beauty who has been married many times. On the way to school on the Hogwarts Express, Slughorn recruits the handsome, arrogant young man for his Slug Club of Potion Master's pets.
7. Corps muck mug clacking?

Answer: Cormac McLaggen

A Seventh Year Gryffindor, the obnoxious McLaggen puts in a mercifully short stint as Quidditch Keeper when Ron is in the hospital wing. McLaggen is a bossy know-it-all. Hermione narrowly escapes being snogged by him.
8. Hen fizzy Billy tea gloat?

Answer: invisibility cloak

During his sixth year at school, Harry keeps his invisibility cloak with him at all times. He wears it to spy on Malfoy and on the trip with Dumbledore to search for Slytherin's locket, one of Voldemort's Horcruxes.
9. Drake goes Maugham, Knorr sis sum Al Floyd?

Answer: Dracos mom Narcissa Malfoy

Sister to Sirius's murderer, Bellatrix Lestrange, Draco's mum has white blond hair like her son's. She begs Snape to protect her baby boy from harm and Snape agrees to do so, binding himself to his promise with an Unbreakable Vow.
10. Zephyr Russ snake?

Answer: Severus Snape

It turns out that Harry was right about him all along, and poor Dumbledore was tragically wrong. Snape murders Hogwarts' headmaster with the deadly curse Avada Kedavra. However, I still wonder whether Snape is as evil as he seems.
11. Nocturne holly?

Answer: Knockturn Alley

Knockturn Alley is the spooky street where Borgin and Burkes is located. A nocturne is a dreamy piano piece with an evening or nighttime theme.
12. Gruff endorse quit etch teem?

Answer: Gryffindors Quidditch team

The actual team this year consists of Harry Potter (Seeker and Captain), Ron Weasley (Keeper), Katie Bell, Ginny Weasley, and Demelza Robins (Chasers), and Jimmy Peakes and Ritchie Coote (Beaters).

When Katie and Ron are out of commission, Dean Thomas and Cormac McLaggen substitute. Ginny subs for Harry in the final game, since Harry is in detention. Of course, Gryffindor wins the tournament.
13. Daft blot prints?

Answer: the Half Blood Prince

The "Half-Blood Prince," who's brilliant at made-up potions, hexes, jinxes, and curses, turns out to be Severus Snape. His mother, Eileen, came from a prominent wizarding family called Prince and his dad, it turns out, was a lowly Muggle named Tobias Snape. Harry accidentally gains possession of Snape's old potions textbook (and handwritten notes).
14. Tumble doors pins if?

Answer: Dumbledores Pensieve

Harry and Dumbledore use the Pensieve to explore Voldemort's past.
15. Flurry doula cur?

Answer: Fleur Delacour

No one wants the vain, beautiful Beaux Batons graduate (a fellow participant, with Harry, in the Tri-Wizard Tournament) to marry handsome Bill Weasley until Bill is disfigured by a werewolf and Fleur proves her love for him. Ginny nicknames Fleur "Phlegm" behind the French girl's back.

A doula, by the way, is a special helper for new moms and their babies. "Doula" is a Greek word, orginally.
