Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of the following characters did not make an appearance at Warren Worthington's club, Heaven during the series?

Answer: Victor Creed (Sabretooth)

Alex Summers was a regular at Heaven, due to his relationship with Scarlet McKenzie, who worked as a dancer at the club.
Remy Lebeau visited Warren Worthington at the club in "X-Men Alpha" to find out why Magneto was looking for him.
Kurt Darkholme (Kurt Wagner in the regular timeline) visited Warren in "X-Calibre" #1 to find out how to get on board the passage to Avalon.
Victor Creed was never shown at Warren's club.
2. Which of Apocalypse's four horsemen is missing in "X-Men Alpha", according to Apocalypse?

Answer: Mikhail Rasputin

In "X-Men Alpha", Apocalypse has a meeting with Abyss, Sinister and Holocaust, and complains about Mikhail's disappearance. Sinister also turns his back on Apocalypse, but Apocalypse doesn't find out about this until later in the series.

Mikhail's only appearances in the "Age of Apocalypse" is in the extended title "X-Universe", in issues #1 and #2. He never appears in the main crossover titles.
3. Which of the X-Ternals betrays the others by revealing his/her alignment with Apocalypse?

Answer: Guido

Guido Carosella (Also known as Strong Guy in the regular timeline) went to the Shi'ar empire and returned to Earth with Gambit and the X-Ternals. Gambit split up the team and left the crystal in the care of Guido and Jubilee, because he expected Apocalypse's men to follow after himself. Guido then showed his true colours by taking the crystal and betraying Jubilee. ("Gambit and the X-Ternals" #3 and #4)
4. Which of the following characters did not directly play a part in defeating the Shadow King?

Answer: Destiny

In "X-Calibre" #4, the Shadow King comes to Avalon and possesses Destiny's adopted son Douglas. Nightcrawler figures out that if he combines his power with that of Switchback and Damask, they can confront the Shadow King in the astral plane. He teleports with both Damask and Switchback, and Switchback then uses her power to prolong their duration in the astral plane, while Damask attacks and subdues the Shadow King with her psychic chains.
5. Which of the following characters did not go to rescue Bishop from the Madri?

Answer: Exodus

In the "Amazing X-Men" #3 and #4, Quicksilver discovers that Magneto and Bishop have been captured, and splits his team up. Iceman is sent to find Rogue, to inform them of the incidents that have taken place. Exodus and Dazzler are sent off to find Charles (Magneto and Rogue's son) and Nanny (Charles's robot nanny).
Quicksilver, Storm and Banshee then go to find Bishop who was being held captive by the Madri. (Clones of Jamie Madrox - the Multiple Man)
6. In the "Astonishing X-Men" #2 and #3, after Sabretooth does battle with Holocaust, Wild Child (Kyle Gibney) flees to find Rogue, and is hunted down by the Infinites. Which X-Man is first to come to his rescue?

Answer: Morph

Wild Child is shot in the back by one of the Infinites while fleeing. He falls down and looks up to see what appears to be Holocaust right in front of him, but is actually Morph in disguise. He tells the Infinites that he will deal with Wild Child personally, and then makes up a joke about putting on a show where he will be the star.

The Infinites are confused by this, and Sunfire (who arrives after Morph) uses this distraction to take out the opposition. Rogue and Blink arrive shortly afterwards.
7. Which character/s was Logan sent to find for the Human High Council?

Answer: Gateway

The Human High Council planned to launch a sneak nuclear attack on Apocalypse in America, and needed Gateway to create a portal to get there undetected. Logan is dispatched to find him. He encounters and defeats the genetically enhanced team of Mangle and Dead-Eye, and then stumbles upon Carol Danvers, before being attacked again by Mangle and Dead-Eye, and later by Donald Pierce. ("Weapon X" #2 - #4)
8. Which character sacrificed himself to take down the forcefield protecting Apocalypse's stronghold?

Answer: Angel

Warren Worthington III (aka Angel) strapped his body with explosives and did a kamikaze-style dive on Apocalypse's shield generator. This happened in "X-Men Omega". His sacrifice was successful, and allowed Nate Gray to enter, and confront Apocalypse.
Banshee sacrificed himself in "Amazing X-Men" #4 when he flew inside Abyss and blew him apart.
Jamie Madrox also sacrificed his life in "Amazing X-Men" #4 in order to stop all his runaway clones.
Douglas Ramsey (Cypher in the regular time line) sacrificed his life in "X-Calibre" #4 to save the life of his adoptive mother Destiny from the Shadow King.
9. Which of these characters did not get drained by Rogue's touch?

Answer: Sunspot

Wild Child licked Rogue's cheek, and got his memories drained into Rogue in order to show her Sabretooth's whereabouts (in "Astonishing X-Men" #3).
Morph lent his power to Rogue in "Astonishing X-Men" #4 to get into Holocaust's processing plant.
Guido was drained by Rogue in "X-Men Omega" in an effort to get Charles (her son) away from him.
Other characters drained by Rogue in the Age of Apocalypse include Bishop and Sunfire, but not Sunspot.
10. "X-Men Omega" (and thus the Age of Apocalypse) ends with Magneto, Rogue and their son standing over the ruins of Manhattan. Who does Magneto send a final vote of thanks to?

Answer: Professor X

Just before the nuclear bombs fall over Manhattan, Magneto reminisces over Charles Xavier's dream of human-mutant coexistence, and how he always fought for that dream. He then thanks Xavier for changing his life. The scene ends with the bombs exploding over them.
