A young girl named Cassandra uses special herbs to help Meowth's fever as he fell in love for her. Meowth helps out to build Paras's confidence so it knocks out Ash's Charmeleon and evolves into Parasect and uses its Spore attack to put Ash's Charmeleon asleep.

Ash and friends listen to Jigglypuff sing, but when they all fall asleep Jigglypuff snoops into Ash's backpack and use his marker to make funny drawings.

In "Attack of the Prehistoric Pokémon", Ash and friends arrive at Grandpa Canyon as diggers are trying to find Pokémon fossils; Team Rocket try to blow up the canyon. Brock and Misty go warn everyone while Ash and Pikachu try to stop Team Rocket. The dynamite sends Team Rocket, Ash and Pikachu deep inside of a cave where they encounter living fossil Pokémon. Kabuto, Kabutops, Omanyte and Omastar have their fun until Aerodactyl woke up from its nap as they go back into hiding. Aerodactyl snatches Ash and escapes. Pikachu and Charmeleon escape, and Charmeleon gets angry and evolves into Charizard, so it can battle Aerodactyl.

Misty returns Psyduck to its Pokéball as she wants to catch the rare Farfetch'd, but bumps into Keith, Farfetch'd trainer. Keith tricks Misty by switching her backpack with a fake backpack filled with a bunch of rocks. Keith's Farfetch'd scams Team Rocket as it snatches Team Rocket's Pokéballs. Team Rocket encounters Keith and Farfetch'd again; they think he hands them back their Pokémon and gives them extra Pokémon, but they all turn out to be Voltorb.
