So, he asks his advisors about how to get rid of them and his advisors tell him to give them impossible tasks that they cannot perform so that if the tasks are not performed, they can just leave the Tsar's palace without marrying the princess.

Getting the water of life for the Tsar was the first task the Tsar gave, which the runner successfully completes. The fourth task was for the Fool to stay in a room made out of iron while the room was being heated overnight; the man carrying the straw accompanied the Fool and made the room cold by spreading his cold straw all over the room.

The final task was for the Fool to produce an army of soldiers for the Tsar; the man carrying the sticks was able to turn his bundle of sticks into an army for the Tsar.

When the Fool put on the royal robes after he completed the tasks, the princess loved him to distraction!
