The Bamingui-Bangoran National Park is an important natural area in the north-east of the country, known for its rich biodiversity, including elephants and gorillas.
The Boali waterfalls near Bangui are a well-known natural feature and tourist attraction, contributing to the country's untapped ecotourism potential.
The Bouar megalith, an archaeological site in the west, provides evidence of ancient human activity and cultural importance.
The Bambouti are an indigenous ethnic group living in the south-east of the country.
Jean-Bédel Bokassa is a former ruler of the country who declared himself emperor in the 1970s.
Bokolo is the traditional dance of the Baka people, an indigenous group in the region.
Boris Becker is a German tennis player who served as a diplomat for the Central African Republic in the 2010s. When he filed for bankruptcy and was charged with insolvency offences, the CAR government no longer recognised his diplomatic status and declared his documents to be forged.
