1. The Eagles (1976) and home of "The Big Bang Theory"

The Eagles released the classic song and album "Hotel California" in 1976. The lead single featured vocals by Don Henley. The sitcom, "The Big Bang Theory", was set in Pasadena, California. The cast included Raj, Howard, Leonard, and Sheldon Cooper as scientists working or attending school at CalTech.
2. The Clash (1980) and 221B Baker Street

"London Calling" was a double album by the Punk band, The Clash, in 1980. The double album's big singles included the title track and "Train In Vain". The iconic album cover shows a guitar getting smashed to pieces on stage. 221B Baker Street is located in London, England and the residence of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes.
3. Jay-Z (2009) and oldest tennis sister

"Venus vs. Mars" was a single on rapper Jay-Z's "Blueprint 3" album in 2009. The song was produced by Timbaland and JRoc. Venus Williams is the older sister of Serena Williams. Both Williams sisters won Grand Slam tennis tournaments. Venus was most dominant on the grass of Wimbledon, taking home five singles titles there.
4. King Curtis (1971) and home of National Civil Rights Museum

King Curtis released his biggest single, "Memphis Soul Stew" on the Atlantic Stax label in 1971. The funky track included a incredible saxophone solo and described building the perfect "stew" by adding in musical instruments a dash at a time. The National Civil Rights Museum is located in Memphis, Tennessee.

The city was the location of Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination. The statue pictured is of W.C. Handy, a legendary American composer.
5. Joe Walsh (1973) and site of Stallone's "Cliffhanger"

Joe Walsh released his massive guitar-driven single "Rocky Mountain Way" on his "The Smoker You Drink, the Player You Get" album in 1973. It was his first major single as a solo artist. Sylvester Stallone's film "Cliffhanger" was released in 1993. The thriller set in the Rocky Mountains also co-starred John Lithgow and Michael Rooker.
6. Frank Sinatra (1980) and The Rockettes

"If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere" became the rallying cry of many New York City residents after Frank Sinatra released his version of "New York, New York" in 1980. The song has become a tradition on New Year's Eve to be blasted on Times Squares after the Big Apple drops.

The Radio City Rockettes are a dance team famous for their high kicks and Christmas events since they formed in 1932.
7. Camila Cabello (2018) and The Bay of Pigs

Camila Cabello was a member of the pop girl group, Fifth Harmony, prior to released her debut solo album in 2018. The album was highlighted by the worldwide smash single "Havana". The single featured a memorable remix with Daddy Yankee. The Bay of Pigs Invasion was an attempt at the U.S. government to overthrown Fidel Castro's communist regime in Cuba. Havana is the capital of Cuba and home of the their capital building as pictured here.
8. George Strait (1987) and Leatherface

"All My Ex's Live In Texas" became a signature country music song for Texas cowboy/singer George Strait. The song became the second single from George's "Ocean Front Property" album in 1987. Leatherface is the name given to the chainsaw mass murder in the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" film first released in 1974. Gunnar Hansen played the role of Leatherface in the original film.
9. Robert Johnson (1936) and home to Al Capone

Many remember the song "Sweet Home Chicago" from the 1980 film, "The Blues Brothers", but the song was a original blues hit for Robert Johnson in 1936. The "Windy" city was home to the legendary mafia boss, Al Capone, from 1925 to 1931. Capone was the boss of the Chicago Outfit.

The artwork seen is The Bean, housed in downtown Chicago. The piece was originally called Cloud Gate but due to its shape became known as The Bean.
10. Michael Jackson (1995) and the site of the last fight in "Rocky IV"

The capital of Russia, Moscow, has been the site of many motion pictures. In the 1984 film "Rocky IV", we saw Rocky Balboa head to Moscow to fight their heavyweight champion, Ivan Drago. Michael Jackson released a greatest hits album in 1995 called "HIStory: Past, Present, and Future: Book 1" and the double album included the moody track, "Stranger In Moscow".

The song was accompanied by a beautiful black and white music video.
